I've always been fascinated by hares, their folklore and mythology. As a child, I vividly remember seeing a lithe shape dart away across the field I was exploring. A few steps further and I discovered the hare's form (their day 'nest') in the long grass. My hand felt the warmth that its body had left and I sat marvelling at this beautiful, elusive & wild creature.
