I am fascinated by biological mechanics. I vividly remember the tiny pink sparrow chick we found and raised as a family. Watching the waxy pin feathers slowly unfurl into a perfect flying machine was hugely influential.
This obsession is the driving force behind my creation of interactive sculptures and puppets, inviting you to discover the beauty of these intricate movements.
In 2019 I was selected to be part of the Craft Council’s prestigious ‘Hothouse’ programme and was honoured to receive the ‘Developing Your Creative Practice’ award from Arts Council England.
